Cee’s Pickney, the debut photography book by Korrie Powell, explores Jamaican heritage, diasporic memory and belonging through a deeply personal visual practice. Shaped by Powell’s homecoming trips to his mother’s hometown of Bellas Gate, Jamaica, the book brings together contemporary photography, family archives and everyday scenes to reflect on the relationship between place, memory and identity.

Moving between the personal and the cultural, Cee’s Pickney considers how a connection to home can be inherited, remembered and reimagined across generations.
